Acid Deposition Acid Deposition occur due to gases such as sulphur dioxide (SO). Oxides of nitrogen (NOX) and ammonia (NH). In dry form it may settle on the ground, or if mixed with water vapor it may result in acid rain. Major sources of these gases are fossil fuel combustion and farming intensive farming pursued in Netherlands is believed to be causing acidification worldwide. The harmful impact falls on human health, agriculture, forests,  damage to biodiversity and so on. The intensity of the impact depends upon physical factors. If a soil is already acidic, it's absorption capacity would be low & impact would be high.

What is Environment? Environment is define as the whole physical and logical system encompassing man and other organism along with interacting components. The term Environment is derived from a french word "environ" it mean surrounding Environment, meant all the things surrounding us is Environment.  Environment is nothing but surrounding consisting of all external factors and conditions influencing organisms but without becoming a part of it. Environment is consisting of two parts, the first part is physical Environment and the second part is called biotic Environment. The physical Environment is consist of soil, water, wind heat etc. The biotic Environment on the other hand consisting of all living being and there interaction.
